– WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER/OUR EVENT IS CANCELED?
We try and be very flexible when it comes to bad weather/event cancellations. We will call you that morning of if it might be canceled and you can either reschedule or get a refund on your deposit. Please note that bad weather does not mean overcast or a drop in temperature.
– CAN WE DRIVE THE VAN OURSELVES?
Because we are a fully licensed transportation provider for the City of Austin, our vans can only be driven by one of our permitted chauffeurs. The good news is, our captains are all fun, professional, and know their way around the area!
– CAN I BRING ANYTHING TO EAT OR DRINK ON THE VAN?
Abso-fruitly! In fact, we encourage it. Our vans are all equipped with a Yeti cooler to keep snacks and any beverages (including libations for those adults 21+) chilled during your adventure. Leave the driving to us and eat and drink as you please!
– WHERE DO WE MEET YOU AND/OR WHERE DO YOU MEET US?
We come to you. You name the time and place, we’ll be there. We run on Lombardi time!
– CAN WE BRING DOGS?
Yes! You can bring your furry friend, but we do ask that they’re out of the “destroying everything not potty-trained” stage. We also ask that you bring a blanket/towel/etc. to place on the seat they sit on.
– DO YOU PROVIDE ICE?
We do provide ice at your request. Otherwise, you’re welcome to bring your own.
– CAN WE SMOKE IN THE VANS?
No. You’re free to smoke outside of the van when parked, but no smoking of any kind is permitted inside of the van.
– WHERE DO MOST PEOPLE GO/WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE DO?
There are TONS of exciting activities and venues in and around the Austin area, and we cater to all of them. Check out our Recommended Charters Page and Events Blog for ideas!
– CAN YOU TAKE US TO MULTIPLE LOCATIONS?
Heck yeah! When you rent a van, you’re renting for the duration of your rental time. Our drivers will happily coordinate pickup/dropoff points with your group, allowing you to create any kind of excursion you can think of!
– WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS IF I HAVE MORE THAN 12 PEOPLE?
We can always do a double party based on your party size and needs. We do require a 20% gratuity for our captains who do a double party.
– WHAT IS NORMAL TIP FOR THE CAPTAIN?
The usual tip amount is around 20% but it is up to you and your experience.
– WHEN IS THE REMAINING BALANCE DUE?
The remaining balance will be due at the end of the rental. You can pay with card or cash.
– CAN I LEAVE A TIP ON THE CARD?
Yes, you can leave a tip for your captain on the card you swipe.
– CAN WE SPLIT THE PAYMENT?
We can split your credit card payment in 2 but not more than that. Cash as much as you like.
– CAN WE PAY WITH THE CARD ON FILE?
All credit card transactions go through our payment processor so be sure to bring a card to pay with.
– DO WE HAVE TO PAY FOR GAS?
No. Gas is included in the price of the charter.
– IS THERE A MAXIMUM TRAVEL DISTANCE?
Nope! (Within reason – we probably won’t be chartering trips to Peru). So long as we agree on our quoted rate, we’re happy to be your transportation solution!
– CAN WE RENT THE VAN MULTIPLE DAYS AND LEAVE IT AT OUR HOUSE OR HOTEL?
No, we do not allow the vans to stay outside of our secured parking facility overnight. We’re happy to be there super late and/or early, but when not in service our vans stay at our facility.
– IS THERE A WAY TO PLAY OUR OWN MUSIC IN THE VAN?
Definitely! All of our vans have upgraded sound systems (subs!) and aux cables to plug in your own music. Pair it with the fun interior party lighting, and you’re ready to Cruise On in style!
– CANCELLATION POLICY
WEEKEND CANCELLATION POLICY: 48 hours notice must be provided to get a full refund on the $100 deposit. 24 hour cancellation notice you will be liable for at least half the rental amount if we cannot get the van re-rented AND no refund on the $100 deposit. Less than 24 hour cancellation notice you will be liable for the full rental amount AND no refund on the $100 deposit.
HOLIDAY CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds on $100 deposit for any reason. 48 hour cancellation notice you will be liable for at least half the rental amount if we cannot get the boat re-rented. Less than 24 hour cancellation notice you will be liable for the full rental amount.
WEEKDAY CANCELLATION POLICY: (Monday-Thursday): 24 hour cancellation notice required to receive a refund on the $100 deposit.
